What Is The Challenge?

The Body-for-LIFE Challenge is one of the programs we offer to help you live a healthier lifestyle. This 12-week program is designed to help you lose weight, have more energy, improve your fitness level and create lifelong healthy eating habits.

New for 2016! The program will be offered year-round and you can select your own start date.

The Body-for-LIFE Challenge is very simple, yet incredibly effective. Here’s what you do:

  • Eat five to six small, balanced meals every two to three hours
  • Work out less than four hours a week: three 45-minute weight-training workouts a week and three high-intensity 20-minute cardio sessions a week
  • Customize the workouts to your fitness level, which means that even if you are a beginner, you can do it!
  • Enjoy one “Free Day” once a week, where you take a break from exercise and eat whatever you desire

Body-for-LIFE’s workouts have produced results in tens of thousands of people. Countless studies show that high-intensity cardio exercise burns fat more effectively than low-intensity cardio exercise. And strength-training exercise helps you not only increase your metabolic rate, but changes the actual shape of your body. Meanwhile, Body-for-LIFE’s small and balanced meal portions help stabilize your blood sugar levels and keep you feeling full and energized all day long.

Why should I do the Body-for-LIFE Challenge?

Body-for-LIFE is more than just another diet—it’s a way of life, not a temporary quick fix. You will be exercising less than four hours a week. And you won’t be depriving yourself or asked to give up any food group. Your meals feature a great-tasting balance of carbohydrates, protein and essential fats, including bread, pasta, potatoes, fruits and vegetables. Best of all, Body-for-LIFE suggests that you take a FREE day every week, where you get to eat whatever you want! Once you start this journey, you’ll be a different person with a new and powerful mindset.

Success Tip: Many people have discovered that when they finish one 12-week Body-for-LIFE Challenge it feels right to begin again - set new goals, and to continue their journey. People have completed two, even three or four Body-for-LIFE Challenges back to back, and they are continuing to make progress. As you make progress and meet your goals, set new goals and move forward even further!
